Pharmacological properties.
Pharmacodynamics. Sekrepat forte balanced combination antacid. Eliminates pain in the stomach after a few minutes after administration. Neutralize excess gastric acid, maintaining a pH of about 4. Has gastroprotective effect due to their ability to neutralize the hydrochloric acid, and activate their own protective factors of the stomach, which promotes scarring. In the process of neutralizing the carbon dioxide is formed, there is no bloating, and, as a consequence, the secondary hypersecretion.
Pharmacokinetics. The drug acts locally. Absorbed only a small amount of aluminum, a few more - magnesium compounds that are rapidly excreted in the urine. Due to the neutralization of hydrochloric acid, aluminum hydroxide and magnesium chlorides are converted into and excreted in the feces.
Indications. Symptomatic treatment of pain and heartburn in diseases of the gastrointestinal tract: peptic ulcers, duodenal ulcers, gastroesophageal reflux disease, dyspepsia, acute and chronic gastritis with high or normal secretion. Irritation of the stomach caused by smoking or errors in the diet (alcohol, coffee, candy, baked goods, etc.) From prevention to chronic administration of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, glucocorticoids and other ulcerogenic drugs.
Dosage and administration. The drug is taken by mouth. Tablets or chew slowly resolves. Adults appoint 1-2 tablets 4-6 times a day, the last time just before bedtime. The drug is recommended to take 1-1.5 hours after eating. The course of treatment is 3-4 weeks. Heartburn or stomach pain drug is used in the same dose without food (on request).
